Why should I donate to the Foundation??

Major reasons for donating include: to give back to your community, to provide for your family’s future care requirements, to establish endowments for education and training and to experience the positive feelings generated by helping others.

The government funding for healthcare in our area is BASE funding, and is the amount required to maintain basic services. To provide additional services or access to advanced equipment, we, as a community are required to raise the funds to pay for the service or equipment.

Others reasons for donating may include an in memorium donation for a friend or loved one, a planned gift to establish a family legacy, a gift of thanks for the service and care provided or funds that are earmarked for new and addtional training for staff.

We are a registered charity and all qualified donations are receipted and can be used to reduce the donor’s tax liabilities.
